The problem we set out to fix

Electrical testing runs on software that hasn't meaningfully changed in twenty years - a Windows desktop tool, a fiddly form designer locked behind the most expensive license tier, and a sync system that assumes you're sitting at a desk. Meanwhile the actual work happens in substations and underground vaults with no signal, on a phone or a tablet, against standards that get revised on a schedule.

UltraDb flips that. Form authoring is free on every plan. The whole app works offline and syncs when you reconnect. Forms are structured to the current published specification, with the section citation and the acceptance value right where the tech is working. And the sealed, customer-ready report comes out the same day - because real-time delivery of trustworthy paperwork is the entire point.

How we build the form library

UltraDb's forms are authored from the published standards the industry already buys and tests to - the ANSI/NETA acceptance and maintenance specifications and the underlying ASTM and IEEE test methods - with documented provenance for every form and field-by-field values checked against the edition cited on the form. We track every revision of the standards behind the library - see the Standards watch on the homepage. We name those standards to describe what our forms follow; we don't claim any affiliation or endorsement we haven't earned. When a content license or partnership is in place, we'll say so explicitly.

Where we are
