UltraDb’s test forms are built from the published standards your work is judged against - ASTM D1816, D877, D974, D923 and D3487; ANSI/NETA ATS-2025, MTS-2023 and ECS-2024; and IEEE C57.104 and C57.106 / C57.147 (consolidating into IEEE C57.166) - with the section citation printed on the form and the acceptance values checked against the edition cited on the form.

Every test in the ASTM D117 insulating-liquid battery, with each reading auto-evaluated against the limit for that oil type and voltage class - so pass, monitor, or investigate is decided the moment the number is entered.

Every screen test, one platform

Dielectric breakdown (D1816 / D877), acid & neutralization number (D974 / D664), water (D1533), interfacial tension (D971), color (D1500), power factor (D924), visual (D1524), and dissolved-gas analysis (D3612).

Limits that know your oil

New oil is graded to ASTM D3487; in-service oil to the ANSI/NETA MTS-2023 tables (IEEE C57.106 / C57.147, consolidating into IEEE C57.166) - by voltage class, and for mineral or natural-ester fluid. No mental table lookups in the field.

DGA that interprets itself

Dissolved-gas results are scored to IEEE C57.104-2019 Status 1 / 2 / 3 from the published gas norms - factoring the O2/N2 ratio and transformer age - not left as raw ppm for someone to puzzle over later.

One report or one test

Run a single combined Oil Quality Screen, or a dedicated form per method - either way the overall verdict rolls up from the worst result.

Open a transformer, cable, breaker, or battery form and see exactly which section governs it - a precise spec citation, not a bare label and a blank field.

Cited-edition values, tracked

Tolerances and pass/fail limits are checked against the edition cited on the form, and we track every revision of the standards behind it - so a sealed report names the edition it was judged against, not a decade-old form nobody updated.

Expected value at entry

The field tech sees the limit beside the reading. Pass or fail is obvious in the field, not a surprise at review.

Inspection checklists built in

Each form opens with the visual and mechanical inspection the standard prescribes, captured as satisfactory / unsatisfactory / not-applicable - flowing straight into the report’s deficiency record.
